7 Best Bloomerang Alternatives in 2026
By Yuri Kruman · Updated October 21, 2026 · 12 min read · Prices checked October 21, 2026
Bloomerang is a well-reviewed donor CRM, but teams start looking elsewhere when the bill climbs with every record they add, when the bundle they want turns quote-only or when they need a product that works in Hebrew and understands how Jewish organizations actually raise money.
Below are seven alternatives with prices checked this week, what each one is genuinely best at and where each one (including ours) falls short.

Prices are what each vendor publishes, checked October 21, 2026. Quote-only means the vendor does not publish a price. ChaiRaise is our product; see the disclosure at the bottom.
1. ChaiRaise
Best for: Yeshivas, shuls, day schools, federations, chesed organizations and Israeli nonprofits whose growth depends on major donors and personal outreach.
Bloomerang is built around retention for general US nonprofits. ChaiRaise is built around the work that comes before the gift: figuring out who a donor really is, whether your cause matches what they care about and what to say to them, in the language they read.
It researches each donor or foundation with AI, scores them by cause match, maps warm introductions from your own contacts and drafts personal outreach you edit and send. The interface and the drafts work in English, Hebrew and French, with full right-to-left support.
- ✓ AI organization and donor research, with cause-match scoring
- ✓ AI email drafting in English, Hebrew or French, one at a time or in batches
- ✓ Warm-introduction paths from your Google, iPhone and LinkedIn contacts
- ✓ Jewish-calendar awareness: yahrzeits, holidays and chai-aligned asks
- ✓ 10-stage pipeline with priorities and a board view
- ✓ Imports from IsraelGives, Donorbox, Charidy and Givebutter exports or a Zapier webhook
- ✓ Team roles (admin, manager, fundraiser, viewer), audit log and data export
- ✓ Email compliance built in: one-click unsubscribe and Israeli §30A labels
Pricing: Starter is free forever for up to 100 donors and 1 team member. Professional is $149/month billed annually (unlimited donors, 5 team members, full AI suite) with a 14-day free trial. Enterprise pricing is custom. No credit card and no AI key needed to start.
What backs these claims
ChaiRaise was built while running a live major-gifts campaign for a Torah institution in Haifa. Every feature listed here exists in the product today, and every number above comes from our published plans.
We are a young product, so we do not yet publish customer testimonials. We would rather show you the product than invent quotes: the free Starter plan lets you test the research and drafting on your own donors before you pay anything.

The other Bloomerang alternatives, reviewed
2. Little Green Light
Best for: Small nonprofits on a tight budget that need gift tracking, acknowledgments and simple appeals.
A cloud donor database that puts every feature on every plan and prices only by record count. It is the cheapest published paid option in this list and has a loyal following for support and value.
Pricing: $45/mo for up to 2,500 records, $60 for 5,000 and $75 for 10,000. Unlimited users. 30-day free trial, no free plan.
- Lowest published paid price we found
- 4.8/5 on Capterra from 317 reviews; support is praised
- Integrates with Mailchimp, Constant Contact and QuickBooks
- Dated interface; dashboard data refreshes daily
- Basic forms and email tools with no scheduled sends
- No AI research and no Hebrew interface
Choose it over ChaiRaise if: you need cheap donation forms, acknowledgments and QuickBooks sync more than AI research or Hebrew.
3. Neon CRM
Best for: Organizations that sell memberships, run ticketed events or need payments and the CRM in one system.
Neon One's CRM prices by your annual revenue rather than your record count and adds memberships, events and volunteers as percentage add-ons. Contacts and users are unlimited.
Pricing: Starts at $99/mo, priced by annual revenue. Revenue bands are not published, so expect a demo and a quote. Memberships +10%, Volunteers +10%, Events +20%.
- Unlimited forms, workflows, emails and reports with an open API
- Neon Pay built in, with a PCI program
- Strong self-guided learning resources
- Reviewers call the email features outdated
- Complaints about fees and contract terms (4.3/5 on Capterra)
- Real price requires a sales call
Choose it over ChaiRaise if: you run paid memberships, event ticketing or a store and want payments and receipting in the same system.
4. DonorPerfect
Best for: Mid-size organizations with direct mail, complex reporting and QuickBooks needs.
One of the longest-standing fundraising databases, sold in Core, Plus and Pro tiers with built-in processing, forms and donor portals.
Pricing: Quote-only. DonorPerfect's page says it starts at $99/month; Capterra lists $119/month. QuickBooks integration starts on Plus.
- Payment processing, forms and donor portals built in
- Deep reporting and segmentation (4.5/5 from 1,482 Capterra reviews)
- Regional versions for Canada (English and French) and Australia
- Reviewers report crashes and timeouts
- Filters are unintuitive
- Event management is weak
Choose it over ChaiRaise if: you need accounting sync, batch gift entry and direct-mail segmentation in one mature system.
5. Givebutter
Best for: US 501(c)(3)s that want donation pages, events and a CRM with no subscription.
A free fundraising platform with a free, unlimited-contact CRM. It earns money from optional donor tips or a platform fee. The catch for Israeli organizations: it requires a US entity and processes US dollars only.
Pricing: Free CRM with unlimited contacts (0% platform fee with tips on, or 3% with tips off, plus processing). Givebutter Plus from $29/mo adds workflows, texting and QuickBooks Online.
- Genuinely free CRM with unlimited contacts
- Giving pages, ticketing and auctions in one place (4.8/5 from 872 Capterra reviews)
- Fast to set up
- Requires a US bank, EIN and phone; USD only, so it does not work for an amuta without a US entity
- Donor tips can confuse donors
- Contact-management gaps such as bulk archive
Choose it over ChaiRaise if: you are a US 501(c)(3) that mainly needs free giving pages and receipts. ChaiRaise imports Givebutter exports, so many teams use both.
6. Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud
Best for: Large, multi-program organizations with an in-house admin or a consultant budget.
Salesforce's nonprofit platform (now marketed as Agentforce Nonprofit) can be shaped into almost anything. The legacy NPSP still runs but stopped receiving new features in 2023.
Pricing: Eligible nonprofits get 10 free licenses. After that, $70/user/mo (Core), $125 (Advanced) or $285 (Max), billed annually. Implementation runs from about $5,000 to $50,000+ by one consultancy's estimate.
- Near-unlimited customization and a huge app ecosystem
- Native AI (Agentforce)
- Multi-currency support
- Implementation cost and complexity
- Needs ongoing admin capacity
- Overkill for a small team
Choose it over ChaiRaise if: you are a large federation that needs program management, deep customization and has someone to run it.
7. IsraelGives
Best for: Israeli amutot that collect shekel donations and must issue Section 46 receipts.
An Israeli giving platform with a free CRM. Every shekel donation automatically gets a Section 46 PDF receipt with the Tax Authority allocation number. That matters more since January 1, 2026, when every Section 46 donation must be reported digitally. Treat it as a complement, not a rival: ChaiRaise imports IsraelGives exports.
Pricing: Free CRM with unlimited users and donors. Platform plans from ₪0/month plus 5% on online NIS gifts, ₪99/month (Israel membership) or ₪199/month (international). Prices exclude VAT.
- Automatic Section 46 receipts in Hebrew and English
- Shekel processing built for Israeli amutot
- Native Salesforce app for larger organizations
- Built around transactions, not major-gift cultivation
- No AI donor research or drafting
- Starter plan requires Section 46 approval
Choose it over ChaiRaise if: your main need is collecting shekel gifts and issuing compliant receipts. Pair it with ChaiRaise for the cultivation side.
How we evaluated these tools
We compared each tool on what a Jewish or Israeli nonprofit actually needs when leaving Bloomerang: published price and how it scales, free plan or trial, AI capability, Hebrew and right-to-left support, shekel and Section 46 handling, donation forms and receipting, and switching effort. Prices and features come from each vendor's own pages where they loaded, with Capterra, G2 and independent price trackers as a second source. We did not accept payment from any vendor. Where a vendor did not publish a price, we say so instead of guessing.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Bloomerang cost in 2026?
Bloomerang CRM starts at $125 per month billed annually, which covers about 1,000 records. Bloomerang Fundraising starts at $40 per month and must be bought with the CRM, and Bloomerang Volunteer starts at $119 per month. In September 2026 Bloomerang removed the published price of its Giving Platform bundle, so larger databases and the full bundle are quote-only.
Is there a free alternative to Bloomerang?
Yes. ChaiRaise Starter is free for up to 100 donors. Givebutter offers a free unlimited-contact CRM but only for US organizations processing US dollars. IsraelGives offers a free CRM for Israeli amutot. Salesforce gives eligible nonprofits 10 free licenses, though implementation usually costs thousands of dollars.
Does Bloomerang work for Israeli nonprofits or in Hebrew?
We found no documentation of a Hebrew interface, shekel processing or Section 46 receipts. Bloomerang's online-giving documentation names only the US and Canada and points organizations outside the US to Stripe or Authorize.net. ChaiRaise works in Hebrew with full right-to-left support, and IsraelGives handles shekel gifts and Section 46 receipts.
How do I export my data from Bloomerang?
Go to Settings, then Organization, then Database Export. Bloomerang produces a ZIP of CSV files covering constituents, households, donations, pledges, recurring gifts, interactions, notes and relationships. Engagement scores, email templates, groups, memberships and split-gift details are not included, and you must wait an hour between exports.
Does Bloomerang have AI features?
Bloomerang launched an AI assistant called Penny in beta on March 31, 2026 for Giving Platform customers. It answers questions about your donor data, flags lapsed and upgrade-ready donors and writes first drafts. Pricing has not been disclosed. ChaiRaise includes AI donor research, cause-match scoring and drafting in English, Hebrew and French on its Professional plan.
Can ChaiRaise replace Bloomerang completely?
Not on its own. ChaiRaise does not process donations, issue receipts or manage volunteers. Most teams keep a giving platform such as IsraelGives, Donorbox, Charidy or Givebutter for transactions and import those gifts into ChaiRaise, which handles research, cultivation and outreach.
Am I locked into a Bloomerang contract?
Bloomerang bills annually. Some third-party trackers report multi-year terms with auto-renewal and a notice period, but they disagree with each other, so check the term, renewal and notice dates on your own order form before you plan a switch.
Which Bloomerang alternative is cheapest?
Among paid plans with published prices, Little Green Light is cheapest at $45 per month for up to 2,500 records. For free options, ChaiRaise Starter covers 100 donors, Givebutter's CRM is free for US organizations and IsraelGives' CRM is free for Israeli amutot.
Which donor CRM is right for you?

| Direct mail, batch entry and QuickBooks | DonorPerfect |
